A research shows that there may be a possible link between gum disease and heart attacks and strokes. They made a research on patients with gum disease who recently had all their teeth extracted and replaced by dentures.
The act of brushing your teeth two times a daily for at least two minutes could reduce the risk of developing cardiovascular diseases according to a study. Previous research has discovered that there is a connection between heart diseases and periodontal diseases - an illness that is characterized by gum inflammation, gum infections and damage to teeth.
